Today in Cool Fashion Designers we have designer, Tiana McClellan, of Most Loved Boutique, an online boutique consisting of retail items and custom pieces.

Business Card

Reigning from Detroit, Tiana is a true business woman and fashionista who has been designing since middle school and made her dreams a reality.  Her pieces are edgy and one of  kind.  Ranging from pieces like fringed corsets, bejeweled corsets with spikes, and sequenced bra tops, Most Loved Boutique would be the one stop shop for editorial pulls.     mlb2 mlb1mlb3             Most Loved Boutique also features custom high waist denim shorts with spikes and patches of leather that will be great for Spring and the current denim on denim trend!   mlb5 mlb4Dress your high waist denim       shorts up with a pair of printed tights from House of Holland, six inch funky heels by London Trash, and a crop top from H&M.           Tiana spoke with ambernicolestyle.com recently about her custom pieces and she also dropped some knowledge for all fashionistas!   On Inspiration: I get inspiration from the most random things... Art inspires me the most. Colors, prints, people and places are all inspirations. For example I love Miami Beach and during my most memorable trip there I wore a lot of bright colors of course. One of my favorite pieces at the time was a coral crocheted crop top I was wearing when I met a very special person. I came home and I sketched the ideal dress for my next trip to Miami and that's the inspiration for my coral beach dress trimmed with Swarovski jewels that you can view and purchase online at www.mostlovedboutique.com   On Closet Staples for Women: Black patform pumps and a pair of booties, Opaque tights, a dressy Blazer, and high waist denim shorts   On Her Ideal Customer: My potential customer is BOLD, outstanding, charismatic, and edgy yet poised. My potential customer is one who attracts attention for the right reasons and doesn't mind standing out in a crowd. My potential customer is not a wall flower but one who makes a positive statement upon entering a room without speaking a word. My potential customer is every young lady with a purpose who dresses with purpose!   Favorite Designers: Many of my favorite pieces come from local designers and students who have the audacity to dream, sketch, and make many of the best pieces from remnants. A few well known designers that I like include Besty Johnson (fun), Jessica Simpson (chic), and Vince Camuto (a touch of edge).   On Her Pieces Giving a Vintage Vibe: I am definitely a fan of vintage fashion. I believe many of the best looks are derived from styles starting in the 50's. I would simply describe my pieces as Most Loved. My goal is to provide that "must have" piece that compliments my customer. One thing I dislike about shopping at the mall is the opportunity for so many people to purchase the same item as myself. The Most Loved Boutique offers exclusivity with all of my one of a kind pieces.   On Advice for Aspiring Fashion Entrepreneurs: I would tell aspiring fashion designers, stylist and store owners to be themselves! Have fun and do what you love!   Future Goals and Projects:  My current goal is to increase marketing and advertising efforts for the Spring Collection. Summer Edge Showcase was a success last year and I am planning to make this year even more memorable for my guests. I am currently working on hosting more events for the Spring and Summer months.   I am also planning on joining more collaborative Fashion Industry efforts in the city of Detroit. Purchases can be made online at www.mostlovedboutique.com.
