Homecoming is one of the most exciting times for high school students seeing that they get the chance to dress up and show off their outfits for all their fellow class mates and friends! Im going to be honest, most of the homecoming outfits I have been seeing thus far are quite boring! There is so much you can do to spice up an outfit to make it pop and be that girl that keeps heads turning when you walk in homecoming! Below I have a list of tips to help you bring out your inner fashionista for homecoming this year!
1. Jumpsuits/Rompers can be dressy: Its all about how you accessorize when it comes to an outfit. Try a romper with a dressy shoe, clutch and duster and you are homecoming ready!
2. Incorporate current trends: Wide leg pants is a very hot item right now. Pair them with a cropped knit sweater, peep toe pumps, and a sexy body chain for a sleek, chic look!
3. There are other things to wear to homecoming besides dresses: Um, hello! A dress is not your only option for homecoming. There are other wardrobe pieces that you can dress up such as a skater skirt paired with a bodysuit and gladiator heel boots. Definitely a hot look!
4. Spice up your dress: So if you just HAVE to wear a dress, opt for a unique dress such as a an oversized shirt, blazer dress, or a coat vest as a dress like the one above.
